Dj D4rk 4th Element Out On Monday

Reported on Saturday, November 22, 2008

Available 24.11.08 From Trackitdown the first release from the mighty Presence Hardstyle
Presence Hardstyle Manager Dj D4rk, 4th Element If you love Hardstyle and haven’t seen or heard of the guy then you must have been living under a rock for a good period of time. 4th Element takes the operatic and orchestral elements of European producers and puts it behind a more UK hardstyle beat. Starting with a typical D4RK kick, complete with screeches and other sounds, it builds well before fading down for a mini bass intro, complete with a very dark and evil monologue. If it’s from a film then I don’t know it, but it sounds cool anyways. The bass is an off beat number that seems to get overpowered by the sheer amount of sounds flying around this track; it’s certainly one of the most “full” pieces he has ever made. The breakdown took me totally by surprise; it contains a proper operatic vocal complete with uplifting pads. It changes well from classical back to hardstyle again as the riff filters up, and drops back in nicely. It goes around for another breakdown but with a slightly different drop. What comes after is a bit more energetic and far dirtier than when the riff was in, and carries the tune to the end. Review courtesy of Dean Zone,Data Transmission
